JOINVILLE
Le château de Grand Jardin
This remarkable garden is the third historical garden of the Renaissance in France. At the end of the century gardens were both decorative and utilitarian: they combined green areas, beds of medicinal, herbal and aromatic plants, beds with flowers and rare plants. Well-pruned fruit trees grew next to vegetables and flowers.

THONNANCE-LES-JOINVILLE
Les jardins de mon Moulin
Unique in location: the Jardins de mon Moulin are situated around a former mill, where the water gently soothes you throughout your visit. Enchanting in design: a themed garden covering over 7,000 m², where more than 3,000 annuals, 600 rose bushes and many other trees and shrubs come together in harmony. Currently especially worth a visit are the English flower beds, a water garden, a rose garden, a mediaeval garden and a white-flower garden.
